Pingüino is the store with the most eccentric, unique, and fun Mexican objects in Mexico.

Created in 2020 by Renata and Santiago – two "chilango" designers who share an obsession for their country's crafts – it houses carefully selected pieces for the home; their requirement to be part of the family: that they make them smile.

Together, after researching the region, they travel the states in search of these pieces: some are replicable, and others have imperfections, but all are genuinely Mexican.

The project arises from the need to express their vision of their country's craftsmanship; they grew tired of it being perceived as something exquisite, expensive, perfect; because well... it's not just like that. Mexico is much more than that: it's imperfect, playful, and tender like Pingüino :)
